Happy Autumn!

The children will be introduced to letters Kk, Ll, Mm, Nn, and Oo.  We will learn about the sounds and talk about what begins with those letters.  And of course, we'll sing more songs!


In math, we will learn about: "Sorting by Shape and Size" "Cylinders, Cones, and Spheres" the students will take a chapter 1 test, and we'll continue to work in our September Math Journals.

Our topic in Religion this week is Chapter 2: God Gives Us Light.  In this chapter, the children will learn that light is one of the things that God made for us.


Important Info/Dates:
Tuesday is Picture Day! Students are to wear their spring uniforms.  

October 4 is St. Francis' Feast Day! Father Matt will have the Blessing of the pets/animals in the Grotto.  The two dates are: October 1 11:00am-12:00pm  and October 4 10:00-11:00 am.

Please label your child's sweatshirts! It makes it so much easier to locate the owners when there is a name on the tag. Thank you!!
